Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy

  • We support children in developing their problem solving skills through everyday activities by building on what they already know and extending the problem beyond their knowledge,

  • We ask children to join in discussions on a daily basis thus providing them with the opportunity to further develop their reasoning skills.

  • Numbers are present in our daily life in a broad range of contexts; children will explore, enjoy, learn and talk about their growing understanding.
